Public Safety
The Public Safety Department provides support to Milton’s police, fire, and rescue services with administrative and/or budgetary assistance. In addition, Public Safety handles town-wide emergency planning and serves as staff for the town’s emergency operations center. Finally, long-term planning and modeling for the future of public safety provision in the Town of Milton is carried out in the public safety office to ensure thoughtful and prudent investment in the town’s future. At this time the public safety director also serves as the interim rescue chief for the town’s ambulance service.
