Board of Civil Authority / Board of Abatement
The Board of Civil Authority (BCA) consists of the Justices of the Peace, Selectboard Members and Town Clerk. The Board of Abatement is made up of all the BCA members plus the Town Treasurer.

Community Champion Award Committee
The Town of Milton’s Community Champion Award honors community members who, through their volunteer efforts, have significantly enhanced our community with their commitment, leadership, and service to others.

Conservation Commission
The Conservation Commission holds regular meetings the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

Development Review Board
The Development Review Board conducts public hearings and renders decisions on development applications subject to the Zoning and Subdivision Regulations.

Economic Development Commission
The Commission holds regular meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Municipal Building Town Manager's Conference Room at 43 Bombardier Road.

Library Trustees
The Library is a municipal department. It is under the management of the Milton Library Board which consists of 5 library trustees who are elected by the residents of Milton.

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission usually meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Police Advisory Committee
The Police Advisory Committee is established under the direction of the Selectboard. The Committee shall adhere to the Administrative Code. The Committee is created to act as a resource for the Town of Milton and the Milton Police Department to assist in the formation of strategies, development of community policing concepts, increasing public awareness, furthering engagement and transparency efforts, and help to identify best practices. The Committee is intended to provide a forum for discussions concerning community issues and the goal is to have a broad spectrum of viewpoints represented.

Recreation Commission
The Recreation Commission functions as a standing committee working in an advisory capacity to the Recreation Department.

Selectboard
The Selectboard is a five member governing body that is responsible for the legislative function of the municipality such as establishing policy, passing local ordinances, voting appropriations, and developing an overall vision for the community and controlling the pace of its implementation.
