Human Rights Day is December 10

This December 10th, we celebrate the 74th anniversary of the United Nation’s adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UHDR). All day long on our Human Rights Day 2022 Facebook Event Page we will share inspirational artwork, discussion topics, and important information related to reducing inequalities, advancing human rights, fostering a resilient and just community, and celebrating the protection of inalienable human rights.

The UDHR is a milestone document that proclaims the inalienable rights which everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Available in more than 500 languages, it is the most translated document in the world.

The 2022 theme for Human Rights Day, set by the United Nations General Assembly, is: Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All.
