Public Safety Concern Regarding Fire Hydrants

Fire Hydrant

This winter we have experienced unusually high snowfall which has created a potential safety concern. Our Public Works team is doing their very best to keep the roads/sidewalks open for safe travel and water/wastewater flowing. The extreme temperature fluctuations have also caused an immense amount of additional work. With several hundred fire hydrants in town, we ask for your help in shoveling out hydrants near your property. This is a very important task and we would greatly appreciate your assistance. If you have questions or concerns please call the Town Manager's Office at 891-8021. Thank you!
