Join Milton on the Move as they kick off Inclusion Week with Milton’s inaugural Inclusion Festival on May 7, 2022 at Bombardier Park West from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.! The Festival celebrates diversity and features multicultural music, dancing, and other forms of art. It also highlights minority-owned businesses and social groups representing our incredible Milton community.

The Festival celebrates diversity and features multicultural music, dancing, storytelling and other forms of art. The Festival is presented by Milton on the Move, a community sponsored initiative, and marks the one year anniversary of the signing of Milton’s Declaration of Inclusion.

Schedule of Events


12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Taiko Drumming, a performance and workshop for 35 participants to learn taiko drumming. Since 1987, Burlington Taiko has been mesmerizing audiences with the powerful, spellbinding and propulsive sounds of the Taiko. Burlington Taiko Group estimates it has introduced over half a million people to the power of Taiko via public performances.

2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Up North Dance Studio, Get moving with a performance of Hip- Hop and Modern Contemporary dance.

2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.: Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater, Jeh Kulu is comprised of several well-known Master Artists from Guinea, West Africa, and many highly-trained American Artists, with extensive experience in the art form. In the Bambara language of Mali, “Jeh Kulu” means “community” and this is exactly what we hope to build with our audiences.

3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.: Up North Dance Studio, Get moving with a performance of Hip- Hop and Modern Contemporary dance.
