Overview

The Cemetery Advisory Committee is appointed by the Selectboard, who serves as Milton's Cemetery Commission. 

The committee assists the Selectboard in the execution of its duties as outlined in Section 3902 of Milton's Administrative Code. The Committee may make recommendations for cemetery improvements, recommend bylaws, regulations, and fees related to burials and plot costs. The Committee consists of five (5) members, four (4) of which are appointed by the Cemetery Commission, and one (1) of which is appointed by the Town Manager or their designee.
